16 - Days of Praise!
16 more days til Asher’s arrival begins!! My mom is heading back to NY tomorrow (Wednesday) and it’s becoming so real that the next time she and dad will drive in is the day I am being induced - oh my!!!!! :)
Jonny’s Grandma texted today and was wondering if I am “bored out of my gourde” - I actually, no lie, can’t say there has been more than a moment or two in almost 60 days II have been bored… God is allowing each day to take on a life of it’s own - nothing very spectacular most days - but each day is very peace-filled and uniquely purposeful. I am amazed at how fast the sun seems to come up and go down in a day!
GOD’S MOVING US FORWARD!!!
About two weeks ago, with his job finally getting started and our time here at MVH being so long, Jonny and I sensed a stirring that it was time to prayerfully consider what God would have for us here for our own home together once Asher arrives. We have SO MUCH appreciated the open door his parents have had for us since we moved here right before Christmas, but with the revolving door here at MVH for the past 2 months, it’s important for us to get out on our own. Our original plan was to get our own place within a month or so of moving here, but with the news about Asher just before we came and the delay in Jonny starting his job, things have had a different timing.
As soon as we started the process of looking, we found the perfect little place for us, Stonebridge Apartments in Beavercreek. The day Jonny stopped in to check out the property there was a 1st floor - 2 bedroom apartment available this Friday, the 8th. I can stroll with Asher just off the property to an awesome outdoor shopping area, The Greene, and it’s about 15-25 minutes from work and all his family. Every detail has worked out so perfectly. I even connected with MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) in the area and a leader helped us find a used washer/dryer for the hookup in our apartment and not have to walk a few buildings over with our little guy to do our laundry - PTL!!!! I am excited to see how the Lord will continue to provide for all our needs as we make this little space our home.
Highlights::
Move Day is THIS SUNDAY, March 10th. So excited to have this blessing before Asher arrives.

Casting off cares - 1 Peter 5:7. A few moments in my day, where I prayerfully wrote down my cares and then took time after they were all written down to put on my fun, red Praise glasses to ask the Lord to show me what He sees about my cares. He’s SO not stressed about the things that stress me! LOL! Such a peaceful reset for my day!

Mailing Address: Jonny and Hannah Picard, 248 McDaniels Lane, Springboro Ohio 45066 Many of you have been asking for our address and what we might need during this time… With room changes that may happen, our home address will be best for mail moving forward. Hospital mail has been great, so anything sent here should still be good though too. Gift cards for gas, parking, and occasional non-hospitals meal have been and continue to be such a blessing as the journey with Asher will continues. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!!
