Hi!! I am Hannah Picard, a Jesus lovin’ gal and the first-ever Praise Coach! God is the original Creator, Founder of Made to Praise Ministries and Head Praise Coach! I am just blessed to be His assistant!
It all began in 2007… I was having a pity party in Panera and whining to God about all the things that were overwhelming me in life and ministry. In a quick minute, I sensed God asking me to turn my pity party into a praise party (I can tell you more about that later!) and I’ve never looked back since. God is unleashing me to creatively share His uniquely powerful and life-transforming strategy of praise with the world!
I have personally experienced the power of praise through many challenging life circumstances. I have walked with the Lord through incredible hardships in the unexpected death of my only sister, processed the realities of un-health and addiction in my family, experienced deep sadness and disappointments in my leadership journey, as well as an extremely traumatic pregnancy with the miraculous birth of our son, Asher. Other life experiences that have allowed me to grow in a life of praise and trusting the Lord include;
Division One college volleyball career (Syracuse University 1994-1998)
Master’s in Special Education - a love for children and families facing unique challenges
Bachelor’s in Physical Education - teaching and coaching in public school
Non-profit, business and church leadership opportunities (Athletes in Action/CRU; Destiny Worship Center - Destin, FL; Tetra Tech, NYC; Chick-fil-A - Miramar Beach, FL)
Sudden life shifts of unexpected moves with Jesus.
Marriage in the later days, at 41 years old.
These experiences have led me to have an uncontainable passion to encourage EVERYONE EVERYWHERE to live a life of praise so they can experience the peace, purpose and joy God brings in the midst of life circumstances.
