Day to Day Praises
Happy Saturday!
This morning, little man was tucked snug as a bug with his little hands folded together when I came in his room. He melts me!!!! I have loved every day here in the NICU spending time with him and watching him amaze the medical teams around us. I am overwhelmed with gratitude to the Lord for blessing Jonny and me with this little miracle that testifies every day to God’s power. We are uncertain of how long we will be here but, I am hopeful that as he keeps on this rockstar path of development with no setbacks, he’ll be discharged before May 2nd, his original due date.

Awesome team of doctors, nurses, supporting staff, and occupational therapists who are helping Asher make great strides in his development
No more ventilator, CPAP, or ANY breathing support as of Day 5 of life.
No more phototherapy light for jaundice
No more pic line in his head for IV
He’s wearing his own clothes!
He loves getting a sprinkle bath and his hair wet
He loves getting his daily massage (pic just below)
He’s started nursing and is doing amazing!!! His continued eating success will be a huge factor in the timing of us being able to go home.

Many of you have continued to ask what we need… First of all, THANK YOU for being so kind and caring!!!! We live amazed and blessed by your generosity!!! ! Life is still happening mainly here at the hospital and since I am no longer an admitted patient we are no longer on a meal plan. The cafeteria is a huge blessing and is pretty affordable. Gift card and monies are the biggest blessing in helping us right now. .A dear friend surprised us and set up a Gofundme to help with ongoing expenses from these months here at MVH and life with our new little man.
