Calling attention to God's greatness in You!
A month or so ago I was asked this question on a survey:
Out of 10 stars how awesome do you think you are?
I sat for a minute kind of taken back by the question, was I an 8? was I a __?
And then the answer hit me smack in my heart with not a single doubt - I AM A 10!!!!
And I actually chose 10!
Friends! I didn’t answer a 10 because I am perfect, but through my journey with the strategy of praise and calling attention to God’s greatness I now believe because of God I am awesome - I am a 10!!!
Not perfect, but awesome!
I have been talking with too many of you who are stuck at 1, 2, 3, 4, maybe 5, maybe 6 and these are all too low!! Honestly, anything below 10 is too low!
It’s unacceptable to me to think you’ll be this way forever, even if right now you see no way to change it…
So, here’s a question for today…
Have often do you think one or more of these thoughts?
I should have done “that” better
I should be a better friend
I should be a better mom
I should be a better wife
I should be a better daughter
I should be a better neighbor
I should be a better employee
I should be a better boss
I should pray more
I should do more
I should love more
I should care more
I should stop “this”
I should be doing more with my business
I should be prettier
I should be healthier
I should be more fit
I should relax more
I should be closer to God
I am such a hypocrite
I am ugly
I am afraid
I am confused
I am ashamed
I am broken
I am giving up
I am fat
I am lazy
I am wasting time
I am missing out
I am not enough
I am not doing enough
I will always struggle with “this”
I will never truly be loved
I will never change
I will always be "this” way
If you have one or more of these thoughts or say one or more of these things about yourself on a regular basis that is TOO many!
God has an incredible journey in store for you.
He wants to take you to new space of thinking and believing about yourself you may not even realize is possible.
